On top of the hill right behind our apartment in South of France we will find the old small fortification Fort St. Elme.
Every time we stay here we use the first morning after our arrival to hike up to the summit and the Fort to enjoy the magnificent vista over the large Rousillon plain stretching out behind our village Collioure to be seen in the foreground.
