Coming back from South of France we met with the typical Norwegian January climate with the cold -20C and frozen trees and snowcovered terrain. But of course as Norwegians we are used to the cold weather this time of the year - just a question of dress up accordingly to keep yourself warm and confident....

It is not so often that you can find the promenade out to the old church in Colliore as desolated as here. But of course the low season in January, on an ordinaire weekday, can offer a chance for an interesting variation with the naked trenes and skarp shadows in the low January light.

We are haiking up the hilled vineyards from Port-Vendres close to the Spaish border in South of France. On the summit to the right we can see the bakside of Fort St. Elme overlooking the vineyards in their winterdress.
For us from Norway a temperature of +15C is almost summer AS compared to the -20C we have home in this January days

El Prat AirPort in Barelona is one of the biggest airports in Europe.
As is Barcelona in number of visitors through a year.
Sometimes coming in from North you will see the whole city for the last kilometers before you touch down at El Prat.

Even with sun and an OK temperature the impression of winter in this very popular village in the South of France is most present.
Another view to the old Church where a big tre points the naked branches up towards the blue sky.
