This photo from the small village Ørnes along our route - sunrise at 10AM.
This morning we crossed the Artic Circle with the Coastal express MS Midnatsol. By tradition there were some celebrating at the ship in honor to the event. Like King Neptun pouring som ice down your neck - inside your shirt.
Crossing the Artic Circle means that we are now in the land of midnight sun in the summer, while at this time of the year the sun has just " returned" after it disappeared some time in November. Today we had sunrise at 10AM, sunset at 2.30PM.
Life onboard the ship is comfortable and relaxed. You dress well before going on deck as it is app. -10 C outside.
Photo below from the ships dining room.
